Side mount arches require access on the interior side of the cabin or gunnel. Use these deck plate panels to cover cut out holes when installing backing plates that require holes to be cut in the interior finish.
The Beckson Screw-Out Plate was designed to provide access without the use of tools, with a single start non-jamming (no cross-thread), extra strong, self-cleaning buttress thread. They incorporate a self-aligning center and an innovative gasket to assure a watertight seal. A back-up sealing wall leaves the plate watertight, even if the gasket is removed. Deck plates are used for access to shut-off valves or back-fastenings, inspection, and clean out for tanks and compartments. A screw-out plate should be used in compartments where a change in air pressure due to temperature or oil canning can occur.

How to select an Arch for your boat and install it yourself
Every boater tries to maximize the use of space on his or her vessel. Adding an arch can be part of the solution and bring with it additional benefits, such as rod storage, a place for mounting radar, lighting and speakers, as well as a tow boss for towing skiers. .
The first step is to determine which of the functions listed in the previous paragraph are right for you. Below are descriptions of the types of arches available for.
FISHING ARCHES can hold up to 12 rod holders which gives you significant storage for the trips to and from the fishing grounds. Generally with fishing arches the captain will add lighting brackets, lights and possibly a radar mounting pad.
SKI ARCHES require different engineering to absorb the heavy stresses presented when pulling a skier. The tow boss is mounted in the center of the arch well above the deck so passengers can move freely about the deck without banging their heads on the arch.
CROSSOVER ARCHES – This type of arch is designed to meet the needs of both the fisherman and the skier. These arches can hold key items such as rods/reels, flood lights,beverage holders, net holders radar units and speakers,
What you need to decide and measure before you order.
1. Will it be a gunnel mount or a side mount?
2. What is the distance between the gunnels or sides where you want to mount the arch? (plus or minus a few inches is OK)
3. What accessories will be needed in addition to the ones that come standard? Lighting, net holders, beverage holders, rod holders, radar pad etc.
4. Only common household tools are needed.
5. Layout parts to make sure all are accounted for.
6. Read the installation instructions before starting
7. Do not use power tools to tighten bolts

This mount is for the special situation where you have limited room between the outer edge of the gunnel and the windshield/windscreen. It will allow you to position the arch outside of the canopy mounts by hanging slightly over the side of the boat. Special backing plates come with it the allow for secure anchoring of the mount to the gunnel. In the picture below you can envision the table as the gunnel. At the moment we do not have pictures of it installed on boat although many customers have purchased them and just have not sent in pictures.

Distance between front and rear legs is 12-1/2" Center to Center
The corner pipes can go at any angle, allowing for the distance between front and rear legs to adjust from is 11" to 24". The further the feet are spread out, the lower
the arch height will be.

Enjoy fishing with our easy to add on Rear Mounted Visor keeps you out of the sun and rain. Built from 1" schedule 40 anodized pipe and Sunbrella Canvas. No shimmy or shake from this top. Bolts right on to your existing Jr. Uni-Arc, Uni-Arch or SR. Uni-Arch, no drilling. All clamp on, just like our rod holders. You can still mount accessories like radar, rod holders and light brackets.

The rear Visor can be extended, but it does not fold up
(hinge). The rear extension costs $289.95 for Visors under 80"
wide and $389.95 for Visors over 80". Prices include the canvas for the extension, when ordered with a
regular visor.
If you want an entire new canvas (for the existing Visor with the new
extension), you need to select the option to add $180 If there are any questions, please ask.
